I have always loved music. From the time I was a little kid, I have been singing or performing in some way. Whether it was singing Karaoke in our family room or performing at the Cobleskill Rodeo, I would relish every chance that I got to sing growing up. I started playing the guitar when I was ten and that really got the ball rolling on my musical aspirations. I started writing my own lyrics and melodies shortly thereafter. I learned from watching my Dad, of course. My father has taught me everything I know about music. Whether he knows it or not, I have studied him throughout the years and truly admire him. He taught me a few chords on the guitar and then I just started writing down thoughts that would come to my head and then I added them to the melodies with the guitar.

I continued to pursue music, after realizing Marine Biology was not my forte, and was accepted at Berklee School of Music. I had planned to go to Berklee the following fall, but for various reasons, I could not attend. So, I got a job and joined some local bands singing lead vocals and playing out at various nightspots in Albany, NY. During that time, I continued writing my own music, playing the guitar, and I even started piano lessons. I was determined to keep music in my life no matter what.
